A Virginia native, Dr. Mike Sagman, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. After serving in the U.S. Army, he opened a private practice specializing in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mike Sagman has earned fellowship status in a number of professional and dental honor societies, including the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

Founded in 1952, the AGD represents over 40,000 general dentists in the United States today. As the country’s second largest dental association, the AGD remains committed to the continuing education of its members and fellows. The organization regularly implements programs to help keep members abreast of the latest industry developments.
In support of this goal, the AGD has implemented a benefit program allowing members to access up to six free webinars through its online learning center. Usually priced at $70 for non-members and $49 for members, these prerecorded webinars explore a wide range of topics. Subjects range from insurance administration to odontogenic infections. Since they count toward continuing education credits, these webinars can help AGD members maintain licensure or achieve fellowship and mastership status with the Academy.
